The tuition you'll be receiving

I am a fully qualified Driving Standards Agency instructor providing patient, friendly tuition.

Your tuition will be provided in accordance with the official DSA syllabus and together, we will monitor and document your progress.

Theory Training

If you need a hand with your theory test studying, I can help - I have a selection of the latest CDRom's and books available for purchase at discounted prices. I also have an interactive Hazard Perception DVD for you to borrow. I would encourage you to start your theory test studying fairly soon, so you are then able to put what you've learnt into practice on the road. You have to pass both parts of the theory test, the multiple choice questions and the hazard perception in order to pass the overall test. Once you have passed, we can then plan for your practical test.

Practical Training

We will cover everything that you need to know in order for you to become a safe and confident driver. If you haven't driven before, we will start by showing you the controls of the car, what they do and how to use them. You will then practice moving away and stopping to gain confidence and control of the car. Your tuition will then progress to include everything from 'angled starts' to 'zebra crossings'. When you are ready to take your practical driving test, we will conduct at least one mock test so that you will have a good idea of what to expect on the 'big day'.
